The Hauptbahnhof train and subway station.
Everyone waiting on the train.
I have probably seen more bikes than cars here. Germany is very conscientious about pollution and encourages people to ride their bike or take the subway. Bikes have their own lanes on both streets and sidewalks, so when walking around KEEP RIGHT.
These bikes aren't chained to anything. Crime feels non existent around here. Germany has a "honor system" that they live by and it seems to work quite well.
The maroon colored sidewalk is for bikes only.
Graffiti is everywhere in Berlin. It gives the feeling that its embraced in the culture. Non of the work looks as if it was tried to be removed.
and of course the biergartens.

Ah ha!!!
ReplyDeleteYou must be sidekicking with Jaymes. The three eyed flag people I've met...but, the skeleton dancing is new.
I like the graffiti...but, probably wouldn't be ok with waking up tomorrow and seeing it all over the front of mine own abode!
